Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Dictionary is a document that describes each component in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). It includes a brief definition of the scope or statement of work, defined deliverables, a list of associated activities, and a list of milestones for each component. It may include other information such as start and end dates, resources required, an estimate of cost, etc. This document helps project managers in understanding the scope and deliverables of WBS components.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
A Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in project management is a tool that defines a project and groups the project’s discrete work elements in a way that helps organize and define the total work scope of the project. A WBS element may be a product, data, a service, or any combination.
